Instrument Currency Program
The program consists of 3 hours of flight time on a FRASCA - C172 G1000Nxi AATD and 2 hours of ground time, plus preflight and post flight briefing. The program is designed to keep you up to date and current. It is also an excellently program to prepare you for your IPC should your recency had expired.
During the ground time you will review with your instructor everything about GPS-WAAS-SBAS and GBAS Navigational Systems as well as all the PBN, RNAV and RNP Instrument procedures, including Departures (SID’s), Arrivals (STAR’s) and Approach procedures. Emphasis will be placed on CDFA techniques for non-precision approaches, DP and VCOA. Flight Planning with fuel requirements and Alternate’s requirement will be reviewed.
During the sim-ride you will be flying a full arrival (with specific ATC phraseology “Descend Via”- “Descend and Maintenance” and “Descend Via Except Maintain”), holding patterns, precision and non-precision approaches. A couple of instrument failures will be introduced and discussed during the lesson (GP failure / Loss of GPS signal / AHRS failure, Partial Panel)

Your instructor will send your few days beforehand the scenario so you can prepare and write down all the questions you want about the flight.
The cost of the program is 800$ WITH A 150$ DISCOUNT FOR THE FIRST TIMERS.

Instrument Proficiency Check
This program is tailored to fulfill the requirement to conduct an IPC as per (FAA-S-ACS-8C) “Instrument Rating Airplane Airman Certification Standards” .
The program consists of 2 hours of flight time in a FRASCA - C172 G1000Nxi AATD and 1 hr flight time in the Vulcanair V1
As you are well aware the IPC is a CHECK and the good outcome and subsequent sign off from your instructor depends on your competency and skillful mastery of the flight program.
The total cost for the IPC is 720$ including Airplane, Simulator and Instructor’s time.
